Stromboli

120 g warm milk

1 tsp dry yeast

200 g flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp oil

Filling:

12-15 slices of pepperoni

6 slices of ham

2 tbsp olives

100 g grated mozzarella

4 tbsp pizza sauce

1/2 tsp pizza seasoning

Start by preparing the dough. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Let the yeast stand for a few minutes, then add the flour, salt, and oil.

Knead the dough until it is smooth. Place the dough in a bowl with a little oil and cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a rectangle measuring 30 x 20 cm.

Spread the sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a 1 cm edge without sauce. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce and layer the toppings on top along with the seasonings.

Roll the dough up from the shorter side and tuck the ends under the dough to form a loaf.

Place the loaf on baking paper and cut a few slashes into the dough. Sprinkle a little cheese over the loaf if desired.

Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes or until the loaf is beautifully golden and baked through.

Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
